Keyword Research

I used SemRush and Google Keyword Planner to define the relevant keywords for my product. The board match type is the crucial match type to jumpstart the campaign because I want to receive as much data insight as possible to analyze which keywords are best performing and which keywords are worst performing in order to create the negative keywords list for this campaign. However, the importance of negative keywords was considered, such as specific product brand, free, discount, etc., due to the fact that I want to prevent overspending on irrelevant keywords with my products.

Next, after receiving the data insight, I will use the data insight to create an A/B testing ad group because I want to take the better keywords to the right ad group and track testing each ad to see which ads can perform better to move the better keywords to the conversion ad group and optimize it for the best result.

A/B Testing

The A/B testing was considered to identify which ad group is better performing to get more conversions or impressions, depending on the objective of the A/B testing. In this case, I will launch the jumpstart ad to get the data insight, then analyze the data about the keywords, ad copy, CPC, bidding, etc. The insight data from A/B testing can be used to guide future campaigns, so I can tailor my campaign to touch my target as much as possible.

Conversion Tracking

Conversion data is the most important data that I have to track for many reasons, such as re-marketing, improving the product, appropriate promotion, etc. I set up the Google Analytics on my website and linked it with my Google Ads account to track who clicked my ad. Moreover, I created the conversion ad group to track everyone who wants to get the promotion by submitting their phone number and email to receive the gift. Then, all of the emails can be re-marketed to the audiences who abandon the cart using the MailPoet plugin in WordPress.

The conversion value is very important data that I can calculate with the cost of ads to determine the actual profitability of advertising efforts. In a similar way is the calculation of ROAS because the conversion value is the parameter that I can use to calculate the ROAS.

Bidding Strategies (Maximized CPC)

The data insight from the conversion rate is important to consider and optimize CPC. It can calculate the maximum CPC for our ad group, which is the actual cost I have to pay to Google Ads. Bidding CPC in Google Ads has many selections, such as manual CPC, ECPC, CPA, etc., depending on your target objective. The right selected is the right target without overspend ad CPC. Moreover, Max CPC can calculate your ad rank, which will show on the search result page. The landing page is the most important factor that I have to consider because the quality score of the website is used in this calculation.
